‘Tis the season…to enjoy the sun

We are getting in the festive mood here at Tregonngeves; the trees are up in the cottages, the Play Barn is decorated and I have ordered my turkey, I just need to collect the tree for in our farm house and arrange for the grandchildren to ‘help’ me decorate it!  If you are staying over the festive period do have a look at Rudolph and Blitzen – I have a way to go for the full set but the big reindeer I made recently at a willow weaving course.  Tomorrow evening I am off with my daughter and daughter in law to a wreath making evening.

On Sunday we spent the most glorious day down at the beach – from 11-3 we sat in the basking sun watching the children play in the sand, pretend to be climbers in the little dunes between the car park and the beach and they even enjoyed a little paddle.  It was one of those wonderful memorable days when the winter rain seems a distant memory, the car parks are free and the beaches are empty – we really, really love Cornwall in December.

Coronavirus Update – 24th March

We wanted to give you a quick update if you’ve booked with us or are wanting to in the coming months.

At the moment we are closed until the end of April and will continue to monitor the situations.  This is to ensure we can do our bit in helping to stop the spread of the virus – now is a time to stay at home and spend time with family there.  If you have a holiday booked with us or have any questions then please do give us a call or send us an email to mail@tregongeeves.co.uk

Whilst now isn’t the time for you to come to Cornwall, it’ll still be here when we get through this – we’ll see you again.

Take care and stay healthy

Judith and Family.
