Seven days of fun!
Cornwall is open all year round and there is plenty to do – even in the quieter months. We love to get out and about, whether for fresh air to blow the cobwebs away or to keep the grandchildren entertained. Every member of the family has a favourite – so here’s the Tregongeeves guide to a week of fun in Cornwall.
Cornish Seal Sanctuary, Gweek
Winter is pup rescue season at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary so it’s a great time to visit. Be prepared for the walk down from the car park – the view across Gweek is just breathtaking.
Eden Project, nr St Austell
Dreaming of sunshine? Take a tour of the Tropical biomes and feel the heat – all year round.
Adrenaline Quarry, nr Liskeard
Have you ever sailed a zip wire? We have the perfect place for you to do this – and try many more activities!
National Maritime Museum, Falmouth
We love the interactive displays and learn something new every time we come.
Lost Gardens of Heligan, Pentewan
There is so much in Heligan’s fantastic 200 acres of gardens.
Bodmin & Wenford Steeam Railway
We love winter Santa rides and picnics in the summer. The ride to The Holt is one of the prettiest train rides ever.
Pinetum Park, St Austell
Another destination in close distance to Tregongeeves, the 3-acre individual garden is designed like a rose. Pinetum is a beautiful, colourful garden and beautiful texture during the winter.
