Our Festive Favourites: 3 Days To Go!

Sometimes it’s nice to really embrace the traditional elements of the festive period and an absolute must for us is Carol singing.

Carol singing’s great, not only because the sounds so uplifting, but because it unites the whole community.

Every year, just a few days before the big day,  we make the short stroll down the winding back lanes to The Polgooth Inn.

You’ll hear the festive cheer before you even open the door; and when you do you’ll be greeted by the warming smell of mulled wine and an array of welcoming faces. For us, this is what Christmas is all about.

Soon the Christmas carols begin, lead by our wonderful Minister, and the outcome is slightly surreal. It’s so warming to see everyone coming together to celebrate Christmas. Although the carols don’t last very long, the celebrations continue in to the evening.

When we return, there’s nothing better than putting our feet up and relaxing infront of the fire with a small glass of port.

Coronavirus Update – 24th March

We wanted to give you a quick update if you’ve booked with us or are wanting to in the coming months.

At the moment we are closed until the end of April and will continue to monitor the situations.  This is to ensure we can do our bit in helping to stop the spread of the virus – now is a time to stay at home and spend time with family there.  If you have a holiday booked with us or have any questions then please do give us a call or send us an email to mail@tregongeeves.co.uk

Whilst now isn’t the time for you to come to Cornwall, it’ll still be here when we get through this – we’ll see you again.

Take care and stay healthy

Judith and Family.
