Can you escape for a Cornwall staycation?

Tregongeeves is the ideal bolthole for a Cornwall staycation – even if you only live an hour or two away. We take the local lifestyle motto of ‘love where you live pretty seriously, so you’ll often find us at Mevagissey with an ice cream or snapping shots of a glorious Poldark-esque beach.

Whether you’ve travelled for an hour or for most of the day, you’ll be met with the warmest welcome. We’re your home from home, with a few luxurious extras thrown in. If you’re travelling with small people we’ll provide a basket of age-appropriate toys. And all our guests are treated to a cream tea on arrival. Our scones  are always home-made by Judith and the recipe is here if you want to have a go yourself.

Our play barn is stocked with activities for the whole family – a toddler clamber zone, table tennis for teens and papers for mum and dad. We have our own heated indoor pool on site and our cottages are designed with comfort in mind.

Cornwall staycation?

Cornwall has had a lot of publicity thanks to BBC1’s Poldark series – but there is still lots to do off the beaten track and away from Charlestown Harbour. We have a few favourite tucked-away places that we like to share with our guests – hidden beaches, picnic spots and the best place for a Sunday roast.

And we always know about the pop-ups and events that happen locally and that can transform your stay with us into something really special. So, do ask us if you’re stuck for something to do.

At Tregongeeves you may visit alone, in a family group or as a couple – we’re especially well set up for mixed-generation family groups and a number of our cottages are dog friendly.

Fancy a quick break? We have a special offer of 10% off for a few last-minute spots here and you can check 2018 availability here.

Coronavirus Update – 24th March

We wanted to give you a quick update if you’ve booked with us or are wanting to in the coming months.

At the moment we are closed until the end of April and will continue to monitor the situations.  This is to ensure we can do our bit in helping to stop the spread of the virus – now is a time to stay at home and spend time with family there.  If you have a holiday booked with us or have any questions then please do give us a call or send us an email to

Whilst now isn’t the time for you to come to Cornwall, it’ll still be here when we get through this – we’ll see you again.

Take care and stay healthy

Judith and Family.
