A Guide to Cornwall’s Winter Markets
Cornwall celebrates winter in style! And one of our favourite things to do is to spend a day at one of our gloriously festive food or craft events. Read on for our pick of this year’s favourites. And if you think we have left out something important – let us know so we can check it out and share what we find with you!
Gwel an Mor Winter Fair
The festivities get off to an early start over at Gwel an Mor. Pop over to Portreath for a fantastic range of stalls and pick up some unique Christmas gifts. Pause and enjoy a mulled wine and hot chocolate will be on sale to warm you up as well as lots of fun for little ones. We’re especially excited about this as the Fair includes the chance to meet Santa and his reindeer!

Padstow Does Christmas In Style
The town and harbour are decorated with Christmas lights and as well as the Christmas Festival there are lots of lovely pubs and restaurants to enjoy. It’s a weekend where everyone seems to be in a really good mood and it is a great opportunity to see Padstow and sample the delights of many Cornish food and drink producers.
We’re looking forward to the chef demonstrations, and are hoping to catch one of the Forums which will discuss the hot foodie topics of the year.
