Head to Cardinham Woods

Cardinham Woods is a great place for a walk and to enjoy the outdoors, and a popular place for dog walking and bike riding. The shortest walk is pretty flat and ideal for little legs. The café near the car park (charges apply) is an excellent place for homemade cakes and soups. Expect the drive here to take 25-30 minutes in the summer, but it really is worth it, especially if you make a day of it and cook lunch on one of the iron barbecues provided. Just remember to bring coals and firelighters!
